PRE TOUR INFORMATION
Congratulations on booking your Travel Buddies adventure! This page will cover all important information about your trip, and at the end is a form you need to complete as part of your pre-tour check in procedure.

TRIP DETAILS
Please find attached your detailed itinerary, specific to your trip. Here you will find what you will be doing each day, and times for your departures from each destination. Please also find Travel Buddies Terms & Conditions.

- Travel Insurance (Please reply to this email with photo proof of your policy)
- Personal Expenses
- Any meals not indicated in the itinerary
- Any deposits required for the hire of equipment.
- Any public transport you choose to get (bus, taxis, trains, uber)
WHATSAPP GROUP CHAT
Don’t stress yourself out with the finer details. This trip is designed to focus on creating friendships and making the most of your travels. On the Friday before your departure, you’ll be added to a group chat in WhatsApp with all your Local & Travel Buddies, so you can meet up before your departure from Sydney.
Each day within this chat we will keep you up to date with where you need to be, what you will be doing, and links to Google Maps so you can easily find your way around.
Driving on K'gari
Included in your Travel Buddies Tour is a 3 day 2 night K’gari 4WD Adventure. This is a Tag Along style tour where around 4 cars will be following the main driver guide. Please note that drivers need to be 21 yrs + and have 2 years driving experience – License must be written in full English or accompanies by an International drivers license. No photocopies accepted.
If this isn’t you – no stress! You can still Tag Along as a passenger, pick out the tunes, take some epic shots, and keep the vibes high.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
As of April 2024, travel insurance is mandatory for all Travel Buddies tours. This ensures you’re covered for any unexpected events during your trip, giving you peace of mind while you explore. Please reply to this email with proof of your travel insurance policy as part of your pre-tour requirements. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to our team.

WHAT TO PACK
Here is a recommended packing list for your Travel Buddies tour. It is highly recommended to travel light if you can due to restricted space on buses, on tours, and for ease of travel. If you’ve arrived in Australia with more than one bag or suitcase, we recommend condensing your items into a backpack for your trip, while keeping your larger luggage safe elsewhere.
